zatarczThank you.
Unfortunately, this model is not sold here. I found ViewSonic VX2780J-2K here.
Other interesting models available here under 200€ are
Lenovo Legion R27qe (180€)
MSI G272QPF E2 (180€)
Philips 27M2N5500 (170€)
AOC Q27G4XF (157€)
AOC Q25G4SR 25″ (250€)
AOC Q27G4ZR (250€)
The most interesting are probably AOC Q27G4XF (Maybe AOC Q27G4ZR but it is more expensive), MSI and Philips.
You can see the ones that are available here: https://www.alza.cz/herni-monitory/18853364.htm .
Anyway, I wouldn’t want to pay more than €200 (there would have to be a very legitimate reason for that). What would you recommend? If I don’t play atmospheric games, they will probably all be comparable, but the differences start to happen in atmospheric games where I need contrast and I can’t judge that (IPS glow).

PCM2I agree with you that you can expect a broadly similar performance out of them, particularly in a well-lit room. The AOC Q27G4XF stands out as a good value option and actually many of these models probably use the same or a very similar panel – which would be a variant of the BOE IPS-ADS panel used in the VX2728J-2K. It’s really a case of “why pay more” when comparing the Q27G4XF to the others. 🙂

zatarczSo if I limit my selection to these three monitors, which would be the best choice, taking into account backlight uniformity (which often varies between units), contrast, minimum brightness, and suitability for a dark room (I can control the lighting very well)? Can this be determined?
The main candidates will be Philips and AOC, because as you said, why pay more for the same panel :-).
I hope to see improvements in every aspect compared to my AOC 24G2SPU (the contrast should be the same or better).AOC Q27G4XF (157€)
Philips 27M2N5500 (170€)
MSI G272QPF E2 (180€)Thank you.

PCM2It could only be determined with appropriate review data, which I don’t have. I’m pretty sure they’ll be based on the same panel, so you can expect similar contrast characteristics. Brightness adjustment is up to the manufacturer and again would require measurements from a review to ascertain. Realistically you shouldn’t expect better contrast than the 24G2SPU (unless your unit had particularly bad dark uniformity) but hopefully similar.

zatarczI think I’ll try the Philips 27M2N5500. It seems to me that it has better features (HDR certification and G-Sync certification, 10bit color, wider color gamut and contrast). I’ll let you know how satisfied I am 🙂 . Thank you for your advice and help.
