I’m glad you’re happy with the Innocn 32M2V and it’s hitting the spot for you so far – even better that you got a good deal on it! I look forward to any further feedback you have on it. πŸ™‚ I’d personally be quite interested in seeing pursuit photos from Test UFO and knowing the gamut coverage once you’ve got your colorimeter would be neat.

Ok…. I been playing with the ufo web, I dunno what settings I need to put, do I need to set the refresh rate to the max? how I capture the screen? Sorry this is all new for me.
-Backlight bleeding test (https://lightbleedtest.com/) this monitor have 0 backlight bleeding.
-Death/suck pixels (https://deadpixeltest.org/) 0 death/stuck pixels. fix it if you have any stuck ones (https://www.jscreenfix.com/).
-Blooming/haloing. I going to start with the miniled technology have the backdraws of blooming/haloing, by how much? it depends of how many dimming zones and the algorithm used to controlled, I know some brands with fewer zones can accomplish a great job because their perfect algorithm on/off/pulse, I saw videos of very well know brands and the blooming look terrible……….on a note to this, when I swap to HDR 1st time and I saw the blooming I was wow no good, until I take my glases off and I cleaned….. lol, I was seeing a glare after that, I try to make a video and same thing, so now I dunno if this videos of “how bad is the blooming in this or that model are true or intended…… maybe I lose the opportunity to get another brand because misleading….. I will figure out this and try to make a video naked eye alike, is I need to score the blooming in this model, from 1 to 10 where 10 is bad, I give a 1 at max. the aura that you see is like looking to a stadium light and you see a very vague aura around. I tested with fireworks and starfields, square cubes around.
-The menus, some people complain about the Innocn menus, I have 1 Msi G273 (very good for the price) one or the other, one look more fancy but they do the same, in my opinion Innocn is a “new” company and they still figuring their style, a good thing is that you can set few hotkeys to have shortcuts, no as good as Benq hotkey puck but is something, I need to dive into the menus as they have many options that I never saw before.
-HDR the hdr is amazing, took me long time to decide because I have a QD HDR TV that look Amazing, is not a Oled, but really close, Oled have their own issues like any other technology.
-Warranty is only 1 year, or they still trying to figure out their products or……… shortcuts/lower cost…I hope not, If the monitor pass the test I will get a extension warranty from Amazon. So far QC seems to be very good.
          More test this weekend.

Glad you’re enjoying it and seem to have got a ‘good unit’ by the looks of things! Having reviewed and used a huge range of monitors, I have to say ‘0’ backlight bleed sounds unlikely. Unless you have the Mini LED solution or some form of alternative Dynamic Contrast active in which case that’s expected.

The Test UFO page I linked to points to these pursuit photograph instructions. The simplest way, though (assuming you have a decent smartphone camera) is to simply take a video of the monitor with your hand moving along at a speed matching the UFOs. You can do multiple passes in one video, waving your hand along with the UFOs and repeating. Some of the frames in the video should reveal what the test is intended to reveal.

I hope this work, this is the calibration from Standard mode, 1st time using a calibrator.
I will post pictures of every clamp.

Unfortunately the links don’t work, but I appreciate the testing in anticipation of working links. The photos you’re uploading to Google Photos can only be viewed by yourself when you’re logged in but not other people.

I appreciate you trying. πŸ˜‰ The UFOs aren’t a pursuit photo, you need to hand wave the camera at a speed matching the UFO as I explained in my earlier post. As for the colour depth, it’s not a glitch and it’s very common for HDR-capable models (and at 144Hz, for HDMI 2.1 capable models more specifically). 12-bit includes an additional 2-bit dithering stage applied by the monitor’s scaler to facilitate viewing 12-bit depth content. There’s no reason to select it in most cases, but it’s an additional layer of ‘support’ if you actually need that and are viewing or creating content where it can be used.
