Our review of the AOC CQ32G4VE (AOC Gaming series) is now live. This is a 31.5″ 2560 x 1440 (QHD 1440p) VA model with 1500R (moderate) curve and support for a 180Hz refresh rate. The contrast performance was good (as expected for the panel and a bit above specified 3500:1), whilst colour performance was respectable for a VA panel with decent colour consistency and gamut plus fairly good gamma calibration. The responsiveness was also impressive for the panel type, certainly above average, with a useable MBR strobe backlight setting as well and very low input lag. HDR was disappointing due to poor hardware capability and calibration in that respect, but the well-rounded SDR experience and price make this a compelling option.
