Hey everyone I’m looking to buy a monitor and stumbled upon these two:
HP Omen 25i
AOC 24G2SPU
Which one of these is the better choice? They’re exactly the same price. It is a shame that the HP doesnt come with any height adjustment but that wouldnt stop me from getting it if it was the better monitor. They also support AMD Freesync Premium as far as I am aware which is perfect. Thank you in advance!November 5, 2023 at 7:37 pm #75004PCM2The AOC 24G2SP(U) is a strong all-round performer and our recommendation of it is clear. The HP Omen 25i’s panel is slightly faster, but the AOC’s pixel responsiveness is perfectly adequate for most. The AOC also offers stronger contrast and a smoother (less grainy) screen surface. In my view it’s more of a unique and interesting offering.

November 5, 2023 at 8:18 pm #75007PCM2From the review: “Standard accessories include a power cable, HDMI cable and DP cable but may vary regionally.” In most cases, it should indeed include a DP cable.
November 9, 2023 at 6:48 am #75041palleetoobayThank you a lot. Would you recommend the AOC 24G2SPU over the Benq Mobiuz Ex240 as well? Which one is the better of these two? Just found out its on sale as well and I heard good things about it but none state which is better.
November 9, 2023 at 6:51 am #75046PCM2Like I said, My recommendation is clear for which model I feel stands out above the crowd as a gaming monitor. Having said that, the EX240 is a good monitor as well, particularly if you prefer a more natural and ‘as the developers intend’ look to the image over extra vibrancy and saturation. Its integrated speakers also punch above its weight, amongst the best you’ll find on a small monitor – though still lacking compared to some larger models (including MOBIUZ ones) and no substitute for decent headphones or standalones.
