The Cooler Master GP27-FUS supports a 160Hz refresh rate and uses a 576 zone Mini LED AUO panel – it’s their version of the Acer X27 S by the looks of things.

I’m actually blind, CM themselves literally state AUO in the specs.

ViewSonic VP2786-4K (successor to the VP2785-4K) at $1066. Rate for 100% AdobeRGB and 98% DCI-P3 coverage.

It’s a bit over the $1000 threshold but it comes with a built in KVM, magnetic hood, and a puck that functions both as a colorimeter and some software controls. Given a SpyderX Pro and XRite/Calibrite ColorChecker Display costs $170, the price increase seems pretty fair.

This feels like a nice combination of the VP2785-4K (predecessor), the BenQ DesignView PD2720U (unfortunately the successor, the PD2725U, has a smaller gamut), and a nice colorimeter.

The ASUS PA279CRV is a good addition to this thread. Price has not yet been revealed, but I’d expect this to come in at a reasonable triple-digit price tag. I hope I’m not disappointed. πŸ˜‰

Looks like the ASUS PA279CRV is ~$470. That’s surprisingly low, although I’ve seen the Lenovo Thinkvision P27u-20 drop to ~$550 on Amazon quite a few times as well.

Unfortunately it looks like the P27u-20 has quite a few QC issues especially around coil whine from reviews on the Lenovo US store and some other places. My unit and all its replacements have the same problem as well. It’s most pronounced when the monitor enters auto-standby. Getting replacements is quite painful as well since you have to do it over phone.

Yeah, those issues certainly sour the experience with the Lenovo and I’m sorry you’ve been having some issues yourself. The PA279CRV is certainly an interesting one which I’m keeping an eye on, very nice pricing in the US. Will also update the news piece to include that pricing information.
