Our review of the KTC H24T27 is now live. This is a very interesting monitor due to its specification and price, with a 23.8″ 2560 x 1440 (QHD or 1440p) IPS panel and 100Hz refresh rate. Retailing for ~$100 USD* I didn’t have high expectations going into this review, but I actually think you get a lot of monitor for your money. A wide gamut IPS panel with 100Hz refresh rate and a refresh rate and screen size combination some will really like. I found the pixel responsiveness left a bit to be desired and there were a few quirks here and there, but overall I think this is an interesting choice for productivity and light gaming. For more of a gaming focus the AOC Q24G2A/BK or KOORUI GP01 might be better options.

*The monitor is available in North America, but not Europe at time of review. I actually purchased this one myself (for the review) via Amazon .com with shipping to UK and even with import duties, tax etc. it remained a reasonable price. The only thing I’d say is that the ‘power brick’ is built into the mains plug end and obviously you’ll need a US to UK adaptor as well. So it becomes quite a chunky connection at the mains end.
