AOC Q24G4RE – How Aggressive is the Matte Coating?

      Hello,

      I’m considering getting the AOC Q24G4RE and I’m curious about the matte finish. It looks like the Q-series uses a lighter matte coating compared to the FHD models, anyone able to confirm?

      Upgrading from a Dell S2415H (glossy surface) so I want to avoid monitors with a heavier matte finish.

        Hi edd,

        I’d expect it to be similar to the AOC Q24G2A/BK we’ve reviewed. So ‘light’ matte anti-glare with a misty graininess to it. Not a sandy appearance like some matte screen surfaces (including those commonly used on ~24″ FHD models) would have.
