This monitor is for sure the fastest 1080 IPS i had without having really low contrast and poor black at exchange.

I tested AOC 24G2SPU,Iiyama 2470HSU and Gigabyte G24F 2 with this one because i got into mania of testing different budget monitors.
The thing is i have a irritating problem. Both AOC seems like having more trait into purple and pinkish colors, when deep blue is automatically more purple instead of blue. Like this 24G4X have a little problem with view angles, but it’s not really a problem tho compared to what i will mention after.

The biggest problem in 24G4X white is more pinkish and whole monitor having that pinkish/reddish trait, when colors like deep blue is more purple. Sky or galaxy looks more purple than deep blue for example. I tried settings like 42,50,48 and even changed gamma from 2.4 to 2.2 because imo 2.2 on this monitor looks too bright and 2.4 feels more “proper” for me at least. For sure it helped compared to all 50 colors settings, but it’s still noticeable. The pure 50,50,50 looks terribly redish/pinkish, not mentioning the warm and normal.

AOC overall having that purple look on deep blue from what i noticed and pinkish trait a bit, but comparing both AOC 24G4X and G2SPU, on 24G4X the pinkish/reddish trait looks a lot more noticeable and it feels like it a bit bleeding with it at some moments. That pinkish/reddish trait is on especially gray and blue things, but not only. AOC 24G2SPU has noticeably better colors while u have side by side and doesn’t have that weird pink trait on gray or other type of colors.

I really don’t understand what AOC did there or why this panel is like that. I wish it looked like G2SPU or close to it with response time of 24G4. Bro this is the hell of budget monitors. There is always something that will make you uncomfortable with it and u need to accept that issue.

Maybe 24G4X has different panel or differently adjusted than 24G4 in sneaky way? Monitorsunboxed reviews this monitor pretty detailed here, but it looked like it’s “perfect” for it’s own price range, i was really hyped, but then when i oredered i noticed this weird trait and i ordered 2nd becuase i thought maybe i got some bad one, but they had the same issues. Idk maybe i got some weird series of them and better to order from other shop that recently got it?

Does anyone who got this monitor recently has the same issues or at least after reading it u noticed it?

Is it really having color problem? , I want to buy one too but kinda i’m scared reading this post and some reddit post about this this issue did you posted this on reddit to or is someone else? And have you tried to see if you have costom color on amd adrenaline or Nvidia color setting see if they are off
