Hello. First of all sorry for my English. I’m looking for a monitor mainly for gaming. The essential requirements are:
-Between 23.8 and 25 inches
-Full HD resolution (1920X1080)
-G-Sync compatible
-Refresh rate of at least 144 Hz
-Inputs of at least 3 USBWith this data and what I have seen, I have highlighted three monitors:
AOC 24G2SPU
AOC 24G2ZU
Dell S2522HGAt least in specifications they are similar, mainly having the second and third one a higher refresh rate and lower response time, being incidentally more expensive. What surprises me is that although the first is well-known among the Gamer community, there isn’t much information about the others and they seem to be superior.
Any opinions, suggestions, etc. on which to choose? If there was another valid option, always with all the characteristics that I put, then I would also value it.
Thank you very much in advance.

The AOC 24G2SP(U) is certainly a model I recommend. The 24G2ZU and S2522HG have a higher refresh rate, which you pay a premium for. But unless you’re specifically looking to game competitively and will be driving a suitably high frame rate, that’s not necessarily going to mean they’re ‘better’ for your uses. The 24G2SP(U) offers superior contrast, a slightly less grainy (smoother) screen surface and a superior colour gamut (especially compared to the 24G2ZU) which will enhance vibrancy and saturation. Pixel responsiveness is technically a bit slower on the 24G2SP(U) for some transitions compared to the 240Hz options as well, comparing apples to apples with refresh rate (e.g. 120Hz etc.) – but this isn’t a difference everyone will readily notice or care about.
If you use the forum search facility, you will see there are a few other threads discussion the Dell S2522HG, specifically. This thread is the most comprehensive, but again it comes down to how important the 240Hz refresh rate is for you and how much you value that. If you’re really keen on 240Hz and you like a bit of extra vibrancy to things (slightly less than 24G2SPU, more than 24G2ZU) then the Dell could be the best option.
